Bus Shuttle 444

From May 31 to October 12, 2025, a shuttle bus will run from Dobbiaco to the Auronzo Hut as an alternative to the toll road, which requires both payment and reservation.
An online reservation with online payment is required for the entire period.

Tickets Bus Shuttle

1. Online via this website

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards (VISA, Mastercard)
  • Google Pay and Apple Pay
  • For orders of €70 or more, PayPal is also available.

Remaining tickets – subject to availability – can be purchased at the bus or train station in Dobbiaco.

To secure a guaranteed seat on the shuttle, we strongly recommend booking online.

Different fares apply to remaining tickets purchased on site.

Cancellation:

Free cancellation is possible up to 72 hours before departure by sending an email to businfo444@gmail.com.

Please include your ticket number. The refund will be issued to the original payment method.

After the 72-hour deadline, refunds are no longer possible – even for last-minute purchases.

Rebooking:

A one-time rebooking is possible until 5:00 p.m. on the day before travel, without giving a reason.

Please send your request to businfo444@gmail.com, including your reservation or ticket number, and the new desired date and time.

Check availability on the website before requesting a change. Rebooking is not possible for fully booked departures.

  • Round-trip tickets are valid only for the selected departures at the time of booking.
  • The return trip can be booked up to two calendar days after the outbound trip.
  • Tickets are valid for direct travel only. Intermediate stops or later reboarding ("hop-on hop-off") are not permitted.

Departures from Dobbiaco (bus station) after 2:35 p.m. can only be booked as one-way trips.

A same-day return trip is not possible due to organizational and capacity reasons.

The Südtirol Guest Pass and the Mobilcard are not valid for the shuttle to the Tre Cime.

However, passengers with a Südtirol Guest Pass are temporarily granted access to an extended seat quota during booking.

This quota is available up to 48 hours before departure.

Yes. Holders of the following Südtirol Pass types can use the shuttle:

  • Südtirol Pass
  • Euregio Family Pass
  • Südtirol Pass abo+
  • Euregio Ticket Students*
  • Südtirol Pass 65+
  • Südtirol Pass business
  • Südtirol Pass free

Important: An online reservation is required at www.drei-zinnen.bz/ticket. Billing is handled via Check-In/Check-Out on the bus according to südtirolmobil fare regulations.

For holders of abo+, Students*, 65+, and free, the ride is free – but a reservation is still required.

*The Euregio Ticket Students issued by Verkehrsverbund Tirol (VVT) cannot be reserved online. Please send your reservation request via email to businfo444@gmail.com. The ticket serves as a visual pass on the bus.

If you miss your booked shuttle bus, please send an email to businfo444@gmail.com. To change your ticket, please enter your first and last name, your ticket number and the new time.

No, seating is open. There are no assigned seats.

Yes, starting this year, selecting the return trip during booking is mandatory.

This selection is binding. Boarding an earlier or later shuttle cannot be guaranteed.

Our staff is available in the morning at the bus and train station in Dobbiaco.

You can also check real-time bus status via the südtirolmobil app or website.

Yes, children also require a reservation.

  • Children up to 5.99 years travel free of charge.
  • Children aged 6 to 13.99 receive a reduced fare.
  • From age 14, the regular adult fare applies.

Wheelchairs:

Transport is possible only in designated spaces on the bus. Wheelchairs must be secured during the ride.

If the space is already occupied, boarding is not permitted for safety reasons.

Fare policy:

There are no fare reductions for passengers in wheelchairs or their companions. Standard südtirolmobil fares apply.

Passengers with visual impairments travel free of charge, but a reservation is still required.

Holders of the Südtirol Alto Adige Pass free can use shuttle 444 free of charge – a reservation is still necessary.

Strollers:

Strollers must be folded and stored in the luggage compartment of the bus.

Yes, animals are allowed. A reservation is also required for them.

Guide dogs and small animals transported in a suitable box or bag travel free of charge and do not require a reservation.

Dogs must wear a muzzle.

The südtirolmobil dog day pass is not valid.

No, due to space and safety reasons, bicycles cannot be transported on the shuttle bus to the Tre Cime.

The shuttle bus 444 does not stop in Misurina. Boarding or exiting there is not possible.

From Dobbiaco, take the SS51 and turn onto the SS48 at Carbonin. From there, follow the toll and reservation-required road to Rifugio Auronzo.

Due to heavy traffic in the Puster Valley, we recommend arriving in Dobbiaco by train.

For those arriving by car, free parking is available near the bus and train stations:

Near the bus station:

  • Maximilianstraße
  • Parking at the middle school (approx. 5-minute walk)

Near the train station:

  • Parking directly at the station
  • Parking at the Grand Hotel (west side, toward Dolomitenstraße)
  • Nordic Arena (approx. 5-minute walk)
